Matthew O'Day, CPA

Matt joined the firm as a tax accountant in September of 2012 and has recently been named a partner. His decade's worth of tax and accounting experience include preparation and review of individual and business tax returns as well as income tax planning. Earning a client’s trust is of utmost importance to him. What Matt enjoys most about his career is building client relationships and learning about people’s passions.

Matt earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Nebraska Omaha. After working five years in the mortgage industry, he decided to pursue a career in accounting and successfully passed the CPA exam in March of 2011. He spends most of his free time with his wife Melissa and two sons Hank & Oliver. Matt also enjoys mountain biking, music, reading, and writing. You can also count on him cheering for the Cornhuskers on game day. Go Big Red!
